From a dad's frustration to a family's passion
Better Bibs started right here in Sydney, born from a simple yet common frustration: ill-fitting netball bibs. Our founder, Simon Madgwick, a Sydney dad with over 30 years of netball experience, including playing Indoor Netball for NSW, and a member of the Australian team in 2024. Simon was sick of playing netball in ill-fitting bits.
"Those old bibs felt horrible and even a little embarrassing when they looked like tiny crop tops. How can I play netball with confidence? I feel silly."
This personal experience sparked an idea, what if we could create bibs that truly fit everyone? That initial spark ignited a family business dedicated to inclusivity and comfort, designing netball bibs for athletes of all sizes.
